Mad River Valley Recreation Fuels Health and Wellness
The Mad River Valley is a vibrant and growing health and wellness destination. When most people think about the Mad River Valley, the beautiful mountains, and the verdant rural landscape comes to mind. What you may not be aware of is our extensive health and wellness community that rounds out our Mad River Valley recreation.
In addition to two well-equipped Recreation Centers nearby, and available on a daily basis to our guests, there are many other health and wellness specialists ready to offer a wide range of health and wellness programs.
There are multiple yoga teachers in the Valley. You can get a massage and/or energy healing session at a variety of places, an acupuncture treatment, herbal consultations, and even an herbal teahouse. Need to talk to a therapist or a life coach? Those too. The Valley even has an equine life coach and experts who focus on diet and nutrition.
There are three large organic farms in the Valley, one of which offers personal growth and wellness retreats. The farm hosts four festivals featuring locally gown produce.
There are hypnotherapists, art and sound therapists, mindfulness teachers, and weekly mediation and mindfulness groups. Physical therapists, doctors, and chiropractors round out the Valley wellness offerings.
