Stunning Vermont Wedding Venues to Consider for 2021
Out of the many Vermont wedding venues you could possibly choose from, you’ll be hard-pressed to find something quite as beautiful as our Vermont Bed and Breakfast, and certainly nothing quite so hospitable and welcoming! Set amidst the scenic backdrop of Vermont’s Green Mountains, outdoor weddings on our property are absolutely magical. Our historic Vermont family farmhouse was built in the 1850s and has been extensively upgraded over the years. Our B&B is surrounded by beautiful gardens, setting the perfect stage for your wedding ceremony. These gardens offer a colorful and vibrant display three seasons out of the year, with the fourth season offering a beautiful snowy backdrop for your ceremony.
In total, you’ll find 9 peaceful acres at our Vermont Bed and Breakfast to explore, and a number of possible locations for your wedding ceremony. This flexibility in location, in addition to the scenery, is what makes us one of the best Vermont wedding venues. Choose to get married in our beautiful custom-built Vermont Hemlock Gazebo, in the midst of our beautiful gardens, or even over by the pond or meadow, all of which offer lovely views of the forests and mountains in the distance.
Inside our stunning Red Barn, you’re welcome to host your wedding reception. We’re happy to cater for smaller events or offer a list of recommended vendors for bigger events. Our barn is beautiful in both summer and winter and is an exceptional place to put on your dancing shoes and celebrate your recent marriage.
Vermont Wedding Packages
To help you get started on planning your wedding, we offer a range of wedding packages at our beautiful Vermont wedding venues. Keep in mind that applications for a Vermont License of Civil Marriage is available on-line and can be paid for at the town hall when you pick up your license. Micro-Weddings
Our Micro-Wedding package offers you the simplicity of an inclusive package with the option to invite up to 16 guests to join the two of you. Small, intimate ceremonies like these have gained steam over the recent years, as the focus really is all about you, enjoying the day, and the company of your special guests. This package will include the following:
- An excellent Justice of the Peace to officiate your ceremony.
- A wedding cake made especially for you.
- Sparkling wine or cider to toast the event.
- Two keepsake signature West Hill House B&B toasting flutes.
- Digital photographs and a slideshow of your ceremony.
- Seasonal flowers for the two of you: either small corsages, boutonnieres, or bouquets, or a table arrangement.
- Accommodation for two nights in the Paris Suite, Wildflower Room, or Mountain Room (further nights, depending on availability, at regular rates).
- Up to 16 guests to join you for the ceremony for $20 (plus tax) per guest.
Intimate Weddings
If you’re looking for Vermont wedding venues that offer a more comprehensive wedding package, then consider our Intimate Wedding package. This package, which can be customized to our needs, can accommodate a maximum of 50 people. Receptions can be outside or inside the Handsome Red Barn, and catering can range from simple appetizers (or s’mores around the campfire) to an elegant sit-down dinner. Our venue pricing starts at $65 per person plus tax and includes the following:
- Consultation and coordination time by the wedding planning team
- Wedding officiant who will work with you to personalize your ceremony
- Ceremony site: choice of anywhere on the B&B grounds
- Chairs (white folding) for the ceremony if requested
- Use of The Handsome Red Barn lit with fairy lights and dimmable pendant lights for dinner
- Tables for dining (5’ round), gifts, and a sweetheart table if requested
- Chairs (white folding with padded seat) for dinner tables
- Table linen: white or cream tablecloths and napkins
- Choice of china and flatware patterns from three options
- Stemware for water, wine, beer, and Champagne toast, water pitchers, and salt & peppers
- Bar and beverage station and bartenders
- Sound system for your personal playlist
- Parking
- Two nights B&B accommodation for the wedding couple in the Logan Suite
Guest accommodations are not included. However, we do require that you or your guests book all the other rooms at the B&B for two or more nights. Additional items, choices, or changes will incur separate charges.
