Our Gardens
Relax in the Beautiful Setting of Our Vermont Bed and Breakfast
The bucolic gardens at our Warren, VT B&B put on a three season display with flowers and another seasonal display with snow, making the Inn a site to see all year round. Nine peaceful acres with mountain views, meadow, ponds, gardens and woods provide a setting for relaxation and getting away from it all. Put your feet up on our front porch, the canopied garden terrace or the airy gazebo. Watch a Guest Review Video that highlights our grounds.
The custom-built gazebo made with Vermont Hemlock invites you to a quiet place to relax, read a book or watch the “critter shows” as birds and chipmunks, deer and an occasional moose entertain you. The gazebo is also a favorite choice for wedding ceremonies.

The property has several ponds, the largest pond dating back to property’s farming days. From time to time the large pond hosts one or more beavers and migrating ducks. A large meadow sits between the Handsome Red Event Barn and the large pond, offering one of the many locations in the gardens for wedding ceremonies given the open vista towards the hills south of West Hill House B&B.
The selection of perennials provides color from May till early October, and by then we are well into foliage season and the leaves on our maple trees take over the show! The numerous flower beds and rock gardens are intertwined with three ornamental ponds, stone walls and flagstone walkways.
Each Winter West Hill House B&B becomes a Winter wonderland with snow covered trees, icicles hanging from the eaves, and snowshoeing and Rocketsledding right from the Inn on the adjacent golf course – we can lend you the equipment. For back country skiers the Catamount Trail passes right behind West Hill House. You can also go right outside our door and ski on the adjacent golf course. If you go out early after the new snow falls you make your own trails. If you wait awhile, someone else will have broken trail for you!
